ABOUT

I'm a freelance producer based in Glasgow, Scotland.

I've always been intrinsically linked to the performing arts in one form or another, my steps into performance started at a young age with dance classes, however, my interest really grew as I got older and joined a youth theatre, performing numerous plays each year including taking our version of Wozeck by Georg Büchner to the New York Fringe Festival in 2001, this, combined with my Theatre Studies training really compounded my passion for theatre and the performing arts.

In 2003 I moved to Glasgow and continued to perform on the local cabaret and variety scene as well as event managing for some small and large scale events but later found my love for circus when I discovered a circus school in Glasgow. Recreationally training in static and flying trapeze and aerial hoop, my journey took me on to working with them in 2015, managing events and creating life-long relationships with artists.

During my time there I started to produce contemporary circus work and eventually left in 2018 to pursue my new found passion for producing full time. I am now producing across the UK working with circus artists, theatre makers and organisations.

What I love most about my work is giving space to artists to be exactly that, taking the burden of the mechanics of making a show and allowing them to focus on creation.

I am currently working as Associate Producer for SUPERFAN and Scissor Kick
